Established privately owned travel management company serving a broad range of companies including many in the Fortune 500 and thousands of retail customers is seeking an experienced ASP/.Net Programmer/Analyst professional to continue develop on our various travel related technology initiatives and manage our current network.





Travel Industry/Travel Agency Experience Prefered.





Responsibilities include:


- Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software solutions.


- Develop customized data reports using excel, crystal reports.


- Evaluates company and client requests for new or modified programs, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.


- Consults with company and clients to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.


- Formulates plan-outlining steps required to develop program, using structured analysis and design. Submits plans to management for approval.


- Designs user interfaces to accomplish goals of project requirements.


- Create and maintain User’s Manuals to describe installation and operating procedures.


- Assists users to solve operating problems. Recreates steps taken by user to locate source of problem and rewrites program to correct errors.


- May train users to use program. May oversee installation of hardware and software at various off-site locations.


- Monitor performance of program after implementation.


- May assist in network enhancements and troubleshooting


- Database Administation


- Provide end user reports for tracking group travel





Current Projects:


- Develop customized data reports


- Maintain in-house VB6 application


- Maintain and enhance multiple online web applications, including online travel booking engine using Galileo’s XML Web Services Application.


- Migrate current systems to .Net platform
