QA Test Manager - 2K Games

2K Games, the publisher of Civ4, Oblivion, Bioshock, NHL2K7, NBA2K7 and more, is currently seeking top notch Test Managers for our Quality Assurance Department in our Northridge (LA), CA studio.



We are looking for key contributors who will successfully manage the execution of Quality Assurance Test activities through active development of our QA Staff and by designing and implementing department policies and strategies.



Test Managers will be responsible for multiple titles, multiple teams and will help drive those projects from start to finish. They will work with their teams to build and monitor test plans, mentor staff, communicate with external customers and set short and long term goals to steer the department forward.



Qualified individuals will have management experience within the video game publishing and/or development industry with emphasis on training and development. As a champion for change, you must have a commitment to take the department to the next level and a passion to want to be part of something big.



Other necessary skills will be knowledge of database software including the ability to instruct others, perform complex queries and generate reports, a solid understanding of commonly used testing tools, a basic understanding of third party standards, and a strong proficiency of excel and word.
