Web Developer Needed!



Our client is a well-funded start-up in the Los Angeles area and is looking for a Mid-level to Senior Web Developer for a massive website that is constantly changing. You will have the opportunity to work on a high volume, consumer facing site that is constantly changing! Based on the infancy stage of the company, you will have the ability to shine and reap great reward for coming in at such an early stage.



GENERAL DESCRIPTION



Our client has developed a new system of play that will transform the $4 billion (and growing) fantasy sports industry. You will be responsible for detail design, implementation and support of web projects. The site is currently in beta stage so you will have the opportunity to truly contribute to the final product. As you grow, your role will transform to meet the needs of our fast-growing company. As such, beyond having a superior technical ability, we also want someone who can adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is also passionate about sports.



Position Responsibilities:



OO Programming in JavaScript for high volume, constantly changing site.

Design and maintain content, user interface and graphic features for high traffic site.

Assist in defining the user experience, and the overall look and feel of the site.

Participate in the definition and documentation of style guides, design principles and UI concepts.

Although you will have some UI responsibilities, this position is primarily a "hands-on" coding position.



Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, XML

Portal development and experience with high traffic websites

Strong understanding of web design concepts – usability, page layout and navigational structures.
