Position Title: MS-SQL Db Programmer/Admin





Reports To: Vice President, Engineering

As one of the fastest growing Internet companies in the Los Angeles area, we seek an entry to mid level MS-SQL Db Programmer/Admin. In this position you will work with/under our Sr. SQL DBA on a wide variety of projects with large, scalable systems while optimizing stored procedures, functions, views and scripts. The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following skills.





Requirements:


• 3-5+ years SQL Programming experience


• Structured programming and OOP experience.


• Demonstrated experience with Business logic and programming


• Ensure database and referential integrity


• MS SQL server experience,


• Experience with database normalization techniques


• Strong problem solving skills and creative thinker


• A self-starter who works well independently


• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within team environment as well as an individual contributor


• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent combination of work/educational history





Plusses:





• Excellent communication skills


• Experience with ASP.NET, C#, Java Script a plus


• Experience with heavy loads (large volume of users)


• Database administration experience (DBA)


• Email, portal, toolbar and video experience highly desired


• Excellent problem solving skills


• Independent, proactive and aggressive “can-do” attitude


• Masters in Computer Science
