Sr.Computer and Information Scientist, Research




Will become a senior member of the research team, which develops new state of the art technologies that address key business goals and will work closely with the product management and engineering teams to bring these cutting edge technologies into production.


Responsibilities:


•Perform research and development on complex problems involving natural language processing, machine learning, information retrieval and information extraction.


•Solve or develop solutions to computer software problems.


•Perform detailed analysis, initiate and execute applied research projects.


•Build prototypes (includes hands-on analysis and coding).


•Work with the product management and engineering teams to bring new solutions into practice and to measure operational performance.


•Apply principles and techniques of computer science, mathematical and/or statistical analysis.




Requirements:


•MS in Computer Science


•Experience with programming languages - C/C++, Perl, SQL


•3+ years of experience in computer science or software engineering research.




Should have at least five of the following skills:


•Optimization


•High performance algorithms


•Heuristics


•Conceptual Analysis


•Data Mining


•Machine learning


•Natural language processing


•Information retrieval


•Knowledge of basic statistics, statistical modeling, linguistic systems and text processing is a plus


•Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math or related experience is a plus
