Who We're Looking For... The Oracle Database Administrator will administrator and support a 24x7 Oracle-based Merchandise Management System.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ongoing database administration, maintenance, trouble shooting, etc. of Oracle databases running on AIX/Linux servers
  
• Develop, administer, and maintain Aldata GOLD Central v.5 Oracle Instances in Production, Disaster Recovery, QA, and Development environments
  
• Perform Oracle installations, upgrades, and patches, as needed
  
• Implement database changes
  
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and directions to other DBAs, developers and help desk
  
• Take on call and shift duty for 24x7 support
  
• Other projects, as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience of Oracle 9i/10g administration
  
• Experience on Oracle advanced features and UNIX/Linux shell programming required
  
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
