United Friends of the Children is a nonprofit organization serving emancipated foster youth in Los Angeles County. Through its transitional housing, career development training, and education programs, UFC helps current and former foster youth develop skills to become successful independent adults. UFC is seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive case management and/or counseling experience to help former foster youth participating in its transitional housing program. Responsibilities include counseling, crisis intervention, case management and coordinated referral services. Work experience with young adults required; familiarity with foster youth an advantage. LCSW preferred or 3-5 years of case management or counseling experience in the fields of education, psychology, counseling, or social work.
