Accountant for Teen Poetry Organization -- NEEDED DESPERATELY

Get Lit-Words Ignite is Los Angeles' leading presenter of literacy performance, education, and teen poetry programs. Get Lit is one of the very few programs approved by both the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission as Arts Education Provider and is
the official teen poetry program of the Los Angeles Public Library who hosts Get Lit workshops and performances at their branch locations.
Get Lit's teen poetry troupe, The Get Lit Players, were semi-finalists in the 2008 Brave New Voices, International Teen Poetry Slam, where they placed among the top ten teams in the world and they are the Premiere Classical Teen Poetry Troupe in America.
We need an accountant to be part of our Get Lit Team! You would handle all finances for the organization and have a vital part in our organization's structure.
